Wear sturdy boots and work gloves. Bring water and lunch in a small pack. Dress for the weather. Training and equipment are provided. All volunteers should review the Code Of Conduct.

Check the weather forecast for the weekend's weather in the park.

All first time NPS volunteers must sign a Trail Worker Volunteer Agreement. Volunteers under age 18 must have their parent or guardian sign the form in advance. Minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old. Ages10-13 must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 14+ can volunteer by themselves. Print, fill out, sign, and date the form. Give it to the crew leader on-site.
